The Centre for Media and Culture in Small Nations was pleased to host the 'cultures of Place’ networking symposium on Friday 19th September 2014. the day included an 'in conversation’ between Alice Entwistle and Chris Morris chaired by Steve Blandford.

There were presentations from Jodie Allinson and Bridget Keehan, Florence Ayisi, Kevin Mills, Márta Minier, Caitriona Noonan, Daryl Perrins and Angharad Saunders. Peter Jachimiak launched his new monograph Remembering the Cultural Geographies of a Childhood Home (Ashgate, 2014).
