The UK has long been a centre for broadcasting excellence. Wales too has established itself as a world-class broadcast centre. Cardiff Media Summit tackled the big issues facing the industry in the UK in general and Wales in particular as it seeks to maintain and strengthen its position against a rapidly changing backdrop. The Summit included a panel discussion on broadcasting in the changing union chaired by the Centre for the Study of Media and Culture in Small Nations co-director, Dr Ruth McElroy.
