Mae adeiladu gyrfa yn y diwydiannau cyfryngau a chyfathrebu yn heriol – gall oriau hir, contractau tymor byr a thechnoleg sy’n newid yn gyflym ei gwneud yn anodd i’r mwyaf ymrwymedig yn ein plith hyd yn oed. Ond gall gweithio yn y sector hwn fod yn foddhaus dros ben hefyd, ac yn aml iawn, mae lleisiau’r merched sy’n llwyddo yn cael eu llethu.

Bydd y digwyddiad hwn, sydd am ddim, yn casglu ynghyd ferched o bob rhan o’r sector, a hynny yng Nghymru a thu hwnt, er mwyn iddynt rannu eu hanesion o lwyddiant ac o frwydro weithiau. Mae’n gyfle i unrhyw un sydd â diddordeb yn y maes hwn gwrdd ag eraill a chreu cysylltiadau.

Making a career in the media and communications industries is challenging – long hours, short-term contracts and rapidly changing technology can test even the most committed. But working in this sector can also be enormously rewarding and, too often, the voices of women who are “making it” get lost.

This free event brings together women from across the sector, in Wales and beyond, to share their stories of success and sometimes struggle. It offers an opportunity for anyone interested in this area to meet others and make connections.
