The Culture, Welsh Language and Communications Committee of the National Assembly for Wales is holding an event to discuss community radio.

The Committee published a report last year which made recommendations about radio in Wales. One of those recommendations was to hold a symposium in order to bring stakeholders together to discuss issues facing the community radio sector.

The first half of this event will be presentations and discussions on all issues affecting local radio.

The second part of the event will be an opportunity for you to discuss the issues facing the community radio sector, such as producing local content, financial sustainability and the changes in the regulatory environment.

Delegates are invited to remain for an afternoon meeting, allowing for further discussion.

The event runs from 10.00 until 13.20 on 20 June 2019 and will be held in the ATRiuM building on Adam Street, Cardiff, CF24 2FN.

Lunch will be provided. Please notify us of any specific dietary requirements you have when confirming your attendance.

If you would like to attend, please email us at seneddcwlc@assembly.wales
