Cyflwynodd tîm ymchwil Deialogau Diwylliannol Cymreig a Chasi banel o bump o bapurau ar 'Y Cymry yng Ngogledd-ddwyrain India: Archwiliadau Diwylliannol drwy gyfrwng Celfyddydau Creadigol.’ Ymunodd ein myfyriwr ymchwil Gareth Bonello ac actorion y prosiect, Lapdiang Syiem a Rhys ap Trefor, gyda’r Dr Helen Davies a’r Athro Lisa Lewis, i gyflwyno fel rhan o gynhadledd Cymdeithas Gogledd America er Astudio Hanes a Diwylliant Cymreig ym Mhrifysgol Bangor, Gorffennaf 2018.

Prof Lisa Lewis and Dr Helen Davies presented their research on 'Multilingual performance in India and Wales: Strategies for the Performance of Minority Languages’ at the AHRC 'Performing Multilingualism’ conference, Oxford University.

Welsh and Khasi Cultural Dialogues at Bangor

The Welsh and Khasi Cultural Dialogues team presented a panel of five papers on 'The Welsh in Northeast India: Cultural Enquiries through Creative Arts Practice’. Prof Lisa Lewis and Dr Helen Davies were joined by PhD candidate Gareth Bonello and project actors Lapdiang Syiem and Rhys ap Trefor, to present their work as part of the North American Association for the Study of Welsh History and Culture conference at Bangor University, July 2018.
