Yn ystod yr ail wythnos, bydd animeiddwyr yn defnyddio eu sgiliau newydd i greu animeiddiad byd go iawn ar gyfer Crybaby, ac yn dysgu sut i fireinio golwg golygfa trwy ychwanegu effeithiau gronynnau, dyfnder maes a symudiad camera.
Bydd yr animeiddiwr a thiwtor 2D/3D hynod brofiadol Dani hefyd yn dangos i hyfforddeion sut i becynnu lluniau ac allgludo golygfeydd o Moho ar gyfer llifoedd gwaith o bell a deall yn well ‘ddibyniaethau llif prosiectau’ gan ddefnyddio enghreifftiau o’r byd go iawn.
Drwy gydol y cwrs 2 wythnos, bydd cymeriadau, cefndiroedd a deialog o Crybaby ar gael i arbrofi a chwarae gyda nhw, gan roi cyfle i bobl greadigol ffres ddatblygu sgiliau newydd, cael profiad o’u rhoi ar waith ar brosiect byd go iawn, a rhoi’r wybodaeth i dalent o Gymru sydd ei hangen ar y sector animeiddio.
Felly dewch i ymuno â ni am y cyfle hyfforddi unigryw hwn a darganfod beth mae defnyddio meddalwedd animeiddio 2D chwyldroadol ar gynhyrchiad byw yn ei olygu yn ymarferol, yn un o brif stiwdios animeiddio Cymru.

Having been used in the Oscar-nominated The Breadwinner, Song of the Sea and Wolfwalkers, Moho Animation Software is widely considered to be an industry standard for professional 2D animation and is being used more and more by successful studios in Wales.
Only issue is, these design and development studios are struggling to find and recruit Moho animators from (inside) Wales.
MOHO HOUSE: 2D ANIMATION SOFTWARE TRAINING aims to fill this skills gap, by offering 8 aspiring animators the opportunity to master all the tools in Moho, while working experientially and experimentally on a commissioned short, Crybaby, produced by Biggerhouse Films CIC and funded by Ffilm Cymru.
This first-of-its-kind, in-person training will take place over 2 consecutive weeks in studios and at workstations provided by Cloth Cat, an award-winning animation and games studio based in central Cardiff.
In the first week, animators learn about the Moho interface, vector drawing tools, the different animation tools and methods and how to rig a character, as well as animate an entire scene with key poses and props.
In the second week, animators will use their newfound skills to create real world animation for Crybaby, and learn how to refine the look of a scene by adding particle effects, depth of field and camera motion.
Highly experienced 2D/3D animator and tutor Dani will also show trainees how to package shots and export scenes from Moho for remote workflows and better understand ‘pipeline dependencies’ using real-world examples.
Throughout the 2-week course, characters, backgrounds and dialogue from Crybaby will be available to experiment and play with, giving fresh creatives the chance to develop new skills, experience putting them into practice on a real-world project, and giving Welsh talent the knowledge that the animation sector needs.
So come and join us for this unique training opportunity and discover what using revolutionary 2D animation software on a live production means in practice, at one of the top animation studios in Wales.
This programme is fully funded by Media Cymru in partnership with Biggerhouse Film CIC and Cloth Cat.
All participants will be reimbursed £500 per week to cover their time out of work to train and their expenses whilst attending the course.
This 10-day course is open to any Welsh or Wales-based screen sector professionals working – or seeking to work – in animation.
Whether you’re a passionate entrant or an experienced animator who wants to develop software-specific skills, this course will deliver the skills needed to work on a future production.
Numbers will be capped at 8.
